Water Supply Problems

The recent cold spell and subsequent thaw has caused disruption to normal water supplies in many local authority areas due to burst mains etc.

The water supply problems are being managed by local authorities as best they can through intensive efforts to identify and repair leaks. The Minister would encourage the public to conserve water during this time to speed our return to normal services. Further information on conserving water is available on www.taptips.ie and local authority websites.
