Atmosphere
Introduction
Challenges to the atmosphere cover such areas as climate change, protection of the ozone layer and air quality.
Addressing these challenges successfully requires ongoing policy development, more effective implementation of environmental controls and greater integration of environmental considerations into economic/fiscal and sectoral policies. It also involves providing information and raising awareness towards behaviour change and continuing to encourage a partnership approach and the concept of shared responsibility in relation to these environmental issues.
Please use the navigation bar on the left to access information concerning air quality, climate change and protecting the ozone layer.
